DETAILS:

We will meet at Kirkwood High School, 801 W. Essex, and we will be # 30 in the line-up. Please notify a KCC staff member or KCC adult volunteer when you drop off your child. The singers should wear their red KCC polo shirts (or red KCC t-shirts if they have one) and khaki shorts, capri’s, pants, etc. and bring a water bottle. We need everyone to be there by 9:30 a.m. Be sure to be on time as the parade begins at 10:00 a.m.

PICK-UP:

We ask that the parents drop off at KHS and then drive to the end of the parade route to find a seat. The parade ends at Kirkwood Community Center at Argonne and Geyer. We suggest finding a spot to sit on Argonne in order to easily meet up with your singer when the parade ends. We will have all children at the entrance to the park (just over bridge from the parking lot) until all parents pick up.

DRIVING TIPS:

When dropping off at KHS, arrive and leave from the west. From mid-Kirkwood, take Adams heading west into Sugar Creek Valley (the winding part of Adams). Make a right onto Lindeman Rd., a right on Dougherty Ferry Rd., and a right on Essex. When leaving to go park by the community center, drive west on Essex, left on Dougherty Ferry, left on Lindeman, and left on Adams. Make a right on Geyer and look for a parking spot at or around the community center on right.
