Calling All Caroler Parents! Carolers are singing a piece that we need YOU to sing with us. I'd love for each Caroler to have one or more parents on stage. The part is EASY & we will "rehearse from 5:45-6:00 p.m. on February 21 & 28 in the Carolers Rehearsal Room. We will also have a "scoot" thru on Sat. March 10 & Sunday March 11 ( we will be figuring out where to stand ). Would you please plan to attend at least one of these rehearsals ? March 11~Spring Concert We will be celebrating 20 years of singing on March 11, 2012. I am so very proud of our Carolers! They are singing so well! Would you consider asking your family to come here your daughter sing? We have plenty of room for everyone at First Evangelical Free Church of America!
Auditions for Carolers Auditions are not scary! I'll be there, as well as Mrs. Zimmermann. Our Carolers will come in to sing 3 at a time. They will sing Happy Birthday & Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. We will do some games & they are finished before they know the audition started. Could I tell Mr. Black that they all sing well? SURE!!!! BUT, it wouldn't be the learning experience for our Carolers! I wish I had a nickel for every KCC singer who has told me that a later audition was "easy, because of all the auditions they had done in KCC!" Please talk with your singer about this upcoming event & encourage them! I KNOW they can do it! KCC Benefit Auction~April 28 ~Westborough Country Club : What can you do to help? Attend Ask Friends & Family to attend Ask "that person you know" for a donation to the auction. Donate items or services that can be auctioned off Donate Gift Cards to be auctioned off Volunteer to help for any amount of time or time frame you are available Kirkwood Children's Chorale~2012-2013~ We are beginning to recruite members for our 2012-2013 season. Our plan is to recruit singers starting in February for auditions, then they will be able to attend the Spring Concert & see what they will be a part of next year. If you know of interested singers; please ask them to call 314-803-2007 for an audition appointment. Remember, this years first graders can start signing up for Carolers for next year~no audition needed!
Celebrating 20 Years of Singing! March 10, 2012~10 a.m. to Noon ~Dress rehearsal ~First Evangelical Free Church of St. Louis March 11,2012~Call time=1: 23 p.m. ; Concert is 3:00 p.m. Wear Red KCC Polos, Black KCC slacks, shoes, socks, & belt. Hair should be arranged away from their faces where it will not need to be touched during the concert. Any hair ornaments should be small & black. Please leave your jewelry ( especially watches) at home & singers should leave their coats with their parents. We have wonderful seating at First Evangelical Free Church of St. Louis ( usually referred to as "E Free"). Please invite your friends & family to mark their calendars also for our concert.
