Awards and Honors
KCC is recognized both nationally and internationally for award winning concerts, students, and educators. KCC members have been selected for the National Children's Choir and/or Missouri State Honors Choirs each year for the past 12 years. KCC has hosted visiting choirs from Chicago, Mobile,Stuttgart, Germany, Battlecreek and the Czech Republic.

| 2001 | Selected as one of six choirs from the US to participate in the Pacific International Children's Choir Festival in Eugene, Oregon. |
| 2000 | Presented five concerts in Manger and Bergen, Norway. |
| 1999 | Honored by the City of Kirkwood for excellence and service. |
| 1999 | Invitational Performance at Missouri Music Educators Conference in Osage Beach, Missouri. |
| 1998 | Performed in Bath, England. |
| 1998 | Invited to perform at the Bournemouth, England International Music Makers Festival (2nd and 3rd Place Awards). |
| 1997 | Directors Mary Poshak and Mimi Steele gave presentation on KCC and Children's Choirs to Missouri State Choral Directors. |
| 1996 | Invitational Performance at Missouri Choral Directors Association Convention in Jefferson City, Missouri. |
| 1996 | Presented 5 concerts in Stuttgart, Germany as part of a Sister City Exchange Program. |
