KCC is recognized both nationally and internationally for award winning concerts, students, and educators. KCC members have been selected for the National Children's Choir and/or Missouri State Honors Choirs each year for the past 12 years. KCC has hosted visiting choirs from Chicago, Mobile,Stuttgart, Germany, Battlecreek and the Czech Republic.

Some of our achievements include:

• 2010--Tour of China--Shanghai, Xi'an, Beijing

• 2009--performed with the St. Louis Civic Orchestra at the Purser Center

• 2009--performed with the St. Louis Holiday Brass at the Cathedral Basilica

• 2009--selected to perform on a mainstage at Disney World in Orlando, FL

• 2008--performed with the St. Louis Philharmonic at the Touhill

• 2008--performed with the St. Louis Holiday Brass at the Cathedral Basilica

• 2008 - Pacific Rim Festival, Honolulu, Hawaii

• 2007 - National Anthem Project, Washington DC

• 2006 - Tour of England.

• 2005 - Tour of New Orleans, participated in Crescent City Festival.

• 2004 - Tour of Salzburg and Linz, Austria.

• 2003 - Tour of Branson, Missouri and Tulsa, Oklahoma.

• 2003 - KCC Members were selected for the National Choir.

• 2004 - KCC Members were selected for the National Choir.

• 2002 - Tour of Scotland.

• 2001 - Selected as one of six choirs from the US to participate in the Pacific International Children's Choir Festival in Eugene, Oregon.

• 2000 - Presented five concerts in Manger and Bergen, Norway.

• 1999 - Honored by the City of Kirkwood for excellence and service.

• 1999 - Invitational Performance at Missouri Music Educators Conference in Osage Beach, Missouri.

• 1998 - Performed in Bath, England.

• 1998 - Invited to perform at the Bournemouth, England International Music Makers Festival (2nd and 3rd Place Awards).

• 1997 - Directors Mary Poshak and Mimi Steele gave presentation on KCC and Children's Choirs to Missouri State Choral Directors.

• 1996 - Invitational Performance at Missouri Choral Directors Association Convention in Jefferson City, Missouri.

• 1996 - Presented 5 concerts in Stuttgart, Germany as part of a Sister City Exchange Program.

• 1996 - Invitational performance at Missouri Music Educators Conference in Osage Beach, Missouri.
